Meet Our Family
About Us:
For over 30 years, we have been teaching decorative painting in the U.S. and
around the world. The last 15 years have been focused on Tricia's team teaching Russian floral and fairy tale painting seminars with Master
artists from Russia. Two years ago, we began bringing our seminar
students to Waterville Valley and renewed our love for the area.
Opening "I Dream of Beading" is the first step of our "dream" to establish a
full scale arts and crafts learning center and retreat.

Tricia is an
internationally known American Decorative Artist, who has studied decorative
painting extensively in the U.S. and Europe. She has been teaching for
over twenty years in the U.S., Canada, Japan, and Europe. Tricia owned
and operated a decorative painting shop and school for ten years,
instructing hundreds of students. Tricia understands color, and she knows
how to use it!
Harry is our jack of all trades. After
a technical career, he has "retired" to keeping the shop running, getting
the shipping done, and serving as our technical guru. He enjoys
calligraphy, theater, and problem solving. During the winter, Harry
teaches math at the Waterville Valley Academy.

Molly (above right) has always had a love of anything creative: scrapbooking,
painting, and anything crafty. She took her first beading class in
January of 2005, and it took off from there. "I Dream of Beading"
opened on July 1, 2005. The store has been her baby, from buying to
designing to decorating. You never know where a passion will take you!
Molly is very excited to be married to her newlywed husband, Jeremy.
Toby
is Molly and Jeremy's new Sheltie. Stop by and say hello.
Melissa
(above left)
has been a part of the family for almost 20 years, as Molly's best friend.
She lives in New Jersey and teaches first grade. We have been
fortunate enough to have her join our team over the summers. Melissa
has never met a craft she didn't enjoy!
Sandi has recently joined the shop family. She, her husband,
Mike, and
their dog, Zoey, have moved to New Hampshire for a while. From a young
age, Sandi has enjoyed needlework, crochet, and decorative painting.
Now all of her creative energy (and spare time!) is applied to intricate
bead weaving.

Angel,
Molly's Sheltie has been our "Guardian Angel," shop mascot, and friendly
greeter for nine wonderful years. She was deeply loved by many and will never be forgotten.
