I Dream of Beading was founded in 2005 in Waterville Valley Resort by internationally known decorative artist and teacher, Tricia Joiner, and her daughter, Molly Lamson of Londonderry, NH. This summer, their program of activities is expanding from its base of beading and decorating t-shirts into painting, stenciling, lettering and other arts and crafts. They will offer weekly classes for children 9 and older and for older teens and adults. Students will learn to use a color wheel, stencil a jungle animal box, paint a set of nested dolls, use texture paint on a journal, create a souvenir picture frame and more. For older teens and adults, a four-session class will teach the basics of the three-stage Russian Zhostovo style of painting decorative flowers. Tricia brings over 30 years of experience teaching decorative painting throughout the US and in Europe, Canada, Asia, and Australia to the classes.
